Niece needed a butcher block top for her camper vanity. Whipped one up out of scraps. Emergency when glue dried too fast in 102 degree heat leaving gaps between boards glued end to end. So I routered out the gaps and put in turquoise and epoxy

Nice save! I love giving my work to relatives. I made something for all my nieces and nephews. And all my brothers also. Nice job, as usual.

Been enclosing the covered patio and screening all the walls (was 1/3 screened before).
Post-covid parties have arrived.

Very Nice, now you can branch out to other weaponry and start making some exotic benchrest rifle stocks.

Ronstar,
So the details in the handle... Do these go through the blade or just a detail embedded in the wood? Would you mind sharing the blade dealer?

The blanks comes with 5/32" holes in it. And I drilled holes in the handle sides in the same spots. I ordered some 5/32" pins from Woodcraft. Pins go all the way through each a side and the blank.
I got the blank from Etsy dealer Harbour Mercantile.
Just ordered one from Indy Hammered Knives. I can't wait to get working on this one.

I have a friend who does exotic rifles - including hardware. I've helped him a little on the wood pieces - very little. These are beyond my abilities. These pics are a couple that he has made.

Awesome! A real blast from the past. Both are great examples of different figure. Fiddleback is my personal favorite.
In the far distant past I was the guy who decided if they were fancy and what grade A, AA, AAA they were.

Great work by the gun stock builder. I have done a little gun stock work but not much. I have fixed and redone a rifle that fell out of a scabbard in the high country and broke sliding down the rocks. I turned out very well but that is with my eyes. LOL

Incredible. Over/under setup. I am not sure what the caliber(s) are, but I have seen detachable lock safari guns that look like that. Also might be a combo shot gun and centerfire setup.
