Damn, Cut-Throat, that woman is too good looking! And too young for you, I think.

Try this. Cover the bottom of his face with your thumb.
A hint: It's a former president.
Another hint: One of C-T's favorite trout flies is
the 'Tricky Dick'

WOW CT! Your wife is HOT! Thank goodness your daughter takes after her! That is a huge fish! You are young and retired, married well and can catch 25 pounders with a single flick of the wrist. Some guys get all the luck! Just don't ever look to me for sympathy!

Re: Where would you like to go?
It is a little spooky that you look like Mel Gibson. I'm sure he's a good looking guy, but as a practicing Catholic, even I find him a way too religious! Is he your evil twin?

I spent a couple of years in the B&D school of catholicism aka "private catholic school". I still believe you can make out some of the marks left on me by those metal edged rulers.
So do you ever wonder why the priests didnt hit on you?

Re: Where would you like to go?
I went to Catholic school too. So did my 2 brothers and sister. No priest ever acted weirdly toward any of us, or toward anyone that we ever knew or even heard of.
It may be that the quality control on seminarian intake slipped somewhere along the way. It also may be that some of these allegations are not very strong.

Re: Where would you like to go?
Mikey, I think the incidence is probably not that much higher (if at all) than in the general population. But the last statistic I saw was one in ten boys and one in three girls were molested in their lifetimes. I think the issue is they were in a position of trust and there was an overt attempt to cover up even the most egregious betrayals. The sin was human failings (which still, by the way, deserve serious jailtime in my opinion), the cover up was a much worse evil and evidence of a system that needs correction.
BTW, to those of you wondering why I say I'm republican and bash Bush, and a Catholic and wrote the above, I promise I'm not a trouble maker, I just believe if you can't look at the problems in your own house, you better not have a thing to say about what you see outside of it. But how did we get on this? Let's get back to talking about C-T's attractive family! (Better stop now, he's going to track me down and use all those martial arts skills he learned in the lethal weapon series to kick my a**!)

Laurence, by this do you mean between birth and age 18; or between birth and death? If the former, does it include high school kids "molesting" one another?
It is awfully hard to imagine that one of 3 three girls is molested by an adult prior to her becoming an adult herself. I don't know any valid statistics at all, but this sounds fishy, doesn't it?

78% of all statistics are fabricated. Including this one.

Someone said "I don't believe anything I read and only'half what I see!' Also, "There are lies, damn lies
and statistics!" Be skeptical. It pays off.

Re: Where would you like to go?
I'll report, you decide!
It referred to before age 18, I was a women's study major before I became an Econ major, I think I still have the book if you want me to dig it out and give you an exact quote. I'm sure you can get stats from a search on google. Most victims are not abused by strangers ala middle of the night amber alert kidnappings. It's family and family friends, and these a**holes are very adroit at manipulating a child's mind into thinking it's their fault, no one will believe them, etc. so that it goes unreported. Hey, I'm not telling you to not be skeptical, do your own research and let me know what you find.
