Attach image to Private Message?
Is there a way to attach an image to private messages? I see where an image can be added if it has a URL, but I don't see the "Manage Attachments" option to add images like there is for posts.

I don’t believe attachments are allowed in PM’s.

The best way to "attach" an image to a PM is to put it in a "cloud" application -- Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. The procedure in Dropbox would be to right-click on the File and choose "Copy Dropbox Link" and paste the Link into your message.
(I believe you can make this password protected or some other security procedure if needed -- but don't quote me on that as I have never done that.)

I'm pretty sure our first set of moderators disabled that feature in vBulletin over a decade ago. It was done after a regrettable series of hacking incidents involving pornographic spam of biologically impossible proportions. I remember getting many PMs from people asking us to stop the spammers.
I don't even know if the attachment feature exists in vBulletin anymore.

Nords was referring to Private Messages, and PMs do not appear in any forum so can not be vetted by Mods or Admins. PMs are private and the contents or attachments cannot be viewed by anyone other than the recipients. If a member does receive an inappropriate PM they can report it by clicking on the report PM red triangle icon at the top of the PM.
