Attachment in private message

A member is asking for an excel sheet via private message, but I can't figure out how to attach it. Is there a way to do it that I'm missing?

Thanks

PMs don't support attachments but they do support links. Some choices here might be:

1. Add the spread sheet to drop box and send a link
2. Share the spread sheet via google docs/drive
3. Send an e-mail

Thanks for the quick reply. Shame PMs don't support attachments, would be handy for a site that shares info!!

Any of the "cloud" programs (Dropbox. for instance) have a "public" folder that is very useful for this kind of thing.
