Dumb question..........

Why are BB image codes not allowed on our signatures? I think this is the only forum I participate on that doesn't allow it.

Not a dumb question.

We chose to keep the signature area simple and straightforward to make the forum easier to read. If you want to see what a forum can look like if you don't place some limits on what can go in sigs, check out this one: - Skateboard Forums - Message Board -

I stopped reading some forum because of the signatures--cartoon cats playing with yarn, glitter text, animated old ladies in rocking chairs, calendars. And a one-line post would take up the whole screen with the signature graphics.

I don't remember any extravagant signatures in the old days here. And you could still limit the number of lines or space if that is a concern. Oh well.......
