I've seen this message on a couple of youtube videos in different posts and am intrigued - what exactly is happening? Is this a copyright issue?

My understanding is that the "owner" of the clip (the one who uploaded it) has the option of disabling the embedding option.

That is also my understanding of it. You can watch it on youtube, but you can't "carry it away with you" and put it on another website. You don't usually find this out until after you post, then you have to go back and find another suitable video. Voice of experience.

You can always click on the title. That will take you back top YouTube and play the song.
