Frequent Error msg when using "Mark Forums Read"

FWIW, I often get this message when I use the "Mark Forums Read" link under Quick Links.

Sometimes the next click works sometimes it takes several clicks.

You might try cleaning out cookies and cache...

I've clearered out cookies and the cache but so far no luck. The first time I use the Mark Forums Read button, I get the error message and the forums arenot market read. If I immediately click it again, no error message and the forums are all marked read.
