HELP! I give up

I tried to stop all of the responses from all of the subscriptions from going to my email address. I went to User CP and got the list of subscriptions. I checked the top box, which checked boxed all of the boxes. I then went and highlighted no email notification and then clicked on go.
It did not work. Someone do me a favor and set it for me ... I've tried it on and off about 20 times now ... I give up.

OK - I have done this for you but if you change your mind and actually want more e-mail... you can make these changes in your user control panel.

Click "user CP" on the upper tool bar.
Select edit options from the left side menu.
After you have made your changes scroll down and hit "save changes".
