From time to time I send a note to a user. It is possible for me to find them?

Perhaps...there is an Outbox in the PM system. Click on the link at the top to take you to your messages, and there is an Outbox button.

But two gotchas: first, the outboxes from before April 29th were wiped in the server move (one of the few things I didn't think to check...inbox PMs were saved, though), and second you have to tell it to save a copy of the message in your outbox when you send it. There's a checkbox at the bottom of the PM. You can set in your profile to keep that box checked by default.

If you didn't save them in your outbox you can't recover them. However, if the receiver hasn't deleted it I might be able to find it by searching the database directly.

Ah, so that is what the outbox is for! Thanks.
