Martha, Rich_in_Tampa and REWahoo have given up their hard won status as retired mods to help out for a bit. Please send them your condolences as this means emptying their ignore lists!

Thanks for asking, but I think it's best for me and thousands of other posters in general (plus several in particular) for me to keep my "Ignore Poster" list.
I believe I've already volunteered for an acceptable alternative...

Thanks for coming back into this role. I don't know how long you have been a retired mod, but I bet you were hoping it would be a lot longer!

Nords can get a new title, "official reference librarian" or "archival engineer"

If you needed to raise $$ to support these forums you could auction off "My Dinner with Martha, Rich in Tampa, and REWahoo, and accompanied by Nords" and it would bring a fortune--your posts are always interesting and entertaining (besides being helpful). Lucky us for the Return of the Moderators....

You get to choose my salutation: contragulations or my condolences. Regardless, welcome back.

Hey, I'm Early-Retired and actually live it. I don't spend hours and hours on internet (note - if you are still working, and are spending hours and hours on internet, I understand ).
Soooo, what did I miss? Anarchy in every forum? Barbarians at the gate? Rats coming up through the sewers? Everybody's whipping boy ***** clone himself a million times like E-R'd Daleks, and all are amassed just outside the forum for the final attack?
Must have been something big.

No big issues, no anarchy, no Barbarians at the gate...well not many anyway, just some very good people wanting to gain some personal time in their lives again. It is the changing of the guard and nothing more. Being a Moderator is a lot of work and takes a lot of time and becomes w*rk after a while and the pay stinks so rotating Moderators is a very good idea as it gives folks a good working knowledge of how the board really works.
Welcome back.
