I just noticed 'not secure' and tried your link. It drops the https and brings me back to not secure. (Chrome user)
As soon as you are logged in this will happen. You will only see the https page on the login page as you are logging in (and login credentials are being passed)

http and https are basically the same thing, except that https uses an encrypted connection - S is for "secure".
Google is on a crusade to get the web to switch over to https and it starting to report http sites are "Not Secure".
Frankly, for a site like www.early-retirement.org it's rather unimportant, but google thinks otherwise. And google is apparently in charge now.
To fix this "problem" change your bookmarks to use the https form of the URL and chrome should shut up.
This only works on your saved links edited to use https. As soon as you click on another er.org link you are back to http and the “Not Secure” warning.

Here's what I'm finding (Chrome):
As seen here, the URL includes the https (see status bar. The mouse is hovering over a thread link):
However, if I click it, it removes the https. If I do a "Copy Link Address" I find that it indeed copies the https, but when I go to that URL, the https is removed.
Interesting and funny. Today I receive an email through gmail notifying me of a reply to this thread and when I open it and click on the link I receive the following message.....
Quote:
Suspicious link
This link leads to an untrusted site. Are you sure you want to proceed to www.early-retirement.org?
Back Proceed
I've never seen this message before but it's certainly appropriate that it would pop up here. Apparently Google is concerned about the site's security as well as some of us.
