Plugin for youtube videos

I keep getting the message that I need a plugin to play youtube videos people have put into a response. But, there is not hint as to what plug-in I need. Any suggestions?

I believe that youtube natively uses either Acrobat Flash Player or Html5.

On the ER.org board, I think Flash is required to view the linked video.

Thanks. I no longer care for Flash, it's a bucket full of security problems. I will view the videos the hard way.

Chrome users are newly experiencing trouble, I think. Latest versions of Chrome have flash disabled by default. You can download and enable the plugin however, up to you....
