Rotated photo upload

Is there a way to have an uploaded photo with the correct orientation?

A search of the side found no solutions.

The uploaded photo shows sideways. Even if I rotate photo "right" before uploading, it will still show up rotated to the left (flipped 180 degrees) instead of the the correct original. The original photo is "portrait" ends up "landscpe" after upload. Am using firefox as browser.

I think your photo viewer shows the photo portrait, but it is actually landscape. Can you save a copy weenie in the photo viewer? That may commit the rotation change. Then upload duplicate.
