Thanks, Moderators and Admins!

I'm not reporting a bug or problem! I just wanted to thank the moderators and admins for keeping this board up, running, and reasonably sane, on a day that could easily have whole forums running into the weeds.

Thanks, folks!

I hope not but your post may be a bit premature. From what I'm seeing in some of the threads the moderators may be filling their pump sprayers with Weed-Be-Gone as we speak...

I agree.

We do not thank these hard w**king folks enough. Actually I do not know if they work hard or not, but their moderation and administration makes this wonderful site run very nicely and it's a pleasure to drop by here regularly and have an interesting experience.

Yes, thanks! It's very impressive how smoothly things run here on a regular basis, and makes it really easy to enjoy and participate in the discussions.

I think what is special about moderation here is that the moderators are really tolerant of differing viewpoints. Having been a moderator and owner of a large forum, I know how much one wants to guide the conversation in a certain way or eliminate certain conversations simply because they don't match up with one's own personal view of the world. This doesn't seem to happen here.

Additionally the administrators participate and involve themselves with discussion. That's always helpful.

All in all, I've been in many forums and this place is clearly in the top 10 percent of professional moderation.

Oh boy. Now they'll all get full of themselves and ask for another pay raise - and pension benefits...

Nah, REW is just worried that the moderator's pay/benefits deficit will be addressed by raising taxes. And if there's a posting tax, it'll be levied against those with the most assets posts...

You guys actually get paid to do this? Heck, when I was a moderator, all I did was pay, not get paid!

Not only do we get paid, but our pay triples every single weekday, and twice on Sundays!

Talk about a great COLA....

Triple their pay but please don't give them a pension. Otherwise I'll have to spend hours studying the pension plan, and warning how will bring financial ruin to the ER world.

I've been to Spain several times on vacation and business and found everyone really nice, friendly and helpful. Of course with my US passport and "Geordie" accent I'm sure they wondered exactly what part of the USA I was from

What a nice post! Really this board's members are so self-moderating that you are thanking us for your own thoughtful posting behavior. But "you're welcome" anyway !

Perhaps Andy could compensate me with this little roadster instead of that percentage raise:

The team here deserves kudos and should be proud of fostering a quality forum community. There is rarely a day that goes by without some issue that needs attention and the team consistently makes well thought decisions on how to handle them.

@Bestwifeever, I thought the contract said you got one of these:

Bugatti Veyron $1,700,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today.
It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.6 seconds.
