Tooltips - Minor Suggestion

When you mouse over a thread topic, a small window appears with the initial text in the first post of that thread.

There would be almost no downside to having much more text in this window, and having it remain up for a long time.

The upside is that checking out posts would be much more convenient for us impatient types. You can just slide down the list of new posts and check them out.

Here's an example from the bike forum:

I agree. The rollover rarely gives me enough additional info to know if I want to click on the thread or not.


edit - Oh yeah, if it could show the originator of the thread, rather than the last poster, that would be helpful too. (this is from 'portal view'). Plus, it seems weird that the title of that column is "Title, Username, & Date", but it only shows the Title (and only part of that).
