Why don't I stay logged-in?

For the past week (or so), I have had to Log-in each time I visit. This is new behavior. Previously, I hadn't been required log-in for many years... it was always automatic.

[edit] I just noticed; this may only happen when responding to e-mail notifications... not sure.

You probably know that you need to check the box that says "Remember Me" when you log in in order to stay logged in. That sets a cookie in your computer. If you clear your history including cookies, then the first time you log back in after that, you'll need to check the box again. Sometimes people set their computer to clear history every time they shut down.

Select First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies in Settings. Then like Gumby said, you will need to tell this site to remember you.

It all depends on the browser you have how to make that setting.

I had the same thing happen a few years back. It seemed to happen right out of the blue and the setting was changed for some reason unknown to me.

<blush> I looked all over for that. The problem was when I clicked on "Log In," I was immediately logged in completely by-passing that step. I don't know who to thank for that... MS Edge, Google, or Lastpass. <chuckle>

The solution was to Log Out and then Log back in which gave me the option to "Remember." Now, I just need to find out what killed the Cookie.

Thank you for getting me back on track.
