Just in time for the last fiscal quarter of the year, California will be seeing another round of rate hikes for individual health insurance premiums.

I happen to be with Kaiser Northern California now, and am planning on sticking with them. The rates are quite competitive for the various financial options, and the overall quality of service is excellent.

Their July 2010 rate increase averaged around 5.3% for individual and family plans. The year over year increase averaged 12.5% (July 2009 to July 2010).
