78 kg. Been stuck at 79.5 for Months so finally! Somehow losing inches and building muscle is just not as satisfying as seeing the scale move

190. A nice, even 80 lb loss. I have my pcp appointment tomorrow. I'll set my final goal after consulting with him.
I'm losing about 1 pound per week now following the same diet that would shed 3 lbs/week 8 months and 80 lbs ago.

Wow that is amazing. You must feel great, both mentally and physically. Congrats.

Yes, I do! Thanks for the compliment.

I went to see the doctor last Friday. As expected, he said any BMI lower than 25 (top of normal range) is fine. That's about where I am. I lost another pound - down to 189. I have been less careful than during the last 8 months, but it's good to still be losing. As an example of being less careful, I had a sandwich on a brioche bun which I haven't done much during the diet. Still I am being careful, as I am really enjoying feeling 10 years younger, and don't want to return to my peak weight.

Another good thing is that my doctor told me that he no longer considers me diabetic, which is nice to hear. I plan to raise my carb intake moderately before my next appointment and it will be interesting to see what that does to my A1C.

To reiterate, it was pretty easy. I did not starve myself. Watching, but not eliminating carbs was key to losing 81 lbs. I ate lots of salads and roasted vegetables, and made sure to always eat less than I did during my gluttonous time. It's doable.

Down another couple pounds to 211 lbs.

Goal is to get down to a number that starts with “1”. Will get there eventually.

Time for a change. Bad diet and little exercise over the past 3 months has propelled me to 200 lbs. Keto and daily exercise starts today. Goal is 185 (and good bloodwork numbers) at my next Dr appt 2/13.
