Just Invested in a Stretching/Massage Chair .. feeling better already

I’ve always had a posture problem hunching over the computer, and hours of standing at work. I found a chair that specialize in stretched your spine ... the chest area, the lower lumbar area, and the legs. It also twist the hips. It’s pretty awesome. It’s called the Inada Flex. In Australia, they call it the Medicine chair. I choose a Japanese brand for its durability. Anyone else invested in a massage chair? Just had it for a couple of days and I notice the difference. DW just loves it. Some reviewers of the product swear it has corrected their spine posture. I nearly bought one of those China made chairs but decided to go with the Japanese one. Anyone wanna share what brand they bought.

That sounds so painful!!! Owww!!!! I am glad you like it but I don't think I want to try it.

I bought a shiatsu pillow massager once and thought it was painful too.

No, it is not painful. Actually, it cures the back pain , and the spinal pain I felt from the hunch position. Wife actually felt asleep in the chair because it feels so relaxing .

I am glad to read that!

For those interested, I found a link which hopefully is the same chair:

How about just doing daily stretches (lying on floor, standing against a wall, hanging head off edge of bed, etc) without buying something?

Yeah, tried the stretching exercises already myself. My wife also tried to do inversion for years on a chair. But wife and I agree this does the job better. One person did a review for this product and said he or she (forgot the gender) have been doing yoga flex and stretching for several years and just didnt do the trick. This machine did it in 2 weeks - I mean permanently correct his posture permanently. I agree. Doing the stretching yourself can only go so far. This machine actually bends you body and spine to bring it back to the original S curve. Every morning i do stretching to bend my spine backwards, but this is like 100 times more for effective.

I dont really know how else to explain it. But its like if your back is itchy, no matter how you scratch it by hand .. a back scratcher will always feel better. In the same way, no matter how much I bend my spine to straighten it, I can’t do it as effectively .. but a precision robotic chair can 100x better. Sure, its like i might try walking 300 mile to get to my destination and get their in a few months, but I’d rather have a fine machine like a car get me their in a few hours

We bought a Body Care Chi massage chair at CES 2006 Las Vegas. It does a spine flex and rotation. We have had it 12 years now and it still works well. It's pretty effective for treating muscle pain.
