Liveheathonline mailings from Anthem

Really trying to get me to sign up, repeated mailings and emails, for a chance to win a $500 Amazon gift card for signing up.

One of the communications said "benefit" of my plan, which I signed up through the CA exchange.

But it looks like $49 a session service where you video chat with some doctor.

So how is it a benefit? Looks more like they're trying to market an external service to its members.

If those sessions applied towards my deductible and there are automatic claim submissions (so that they know I've spent money on Livehealthonline.com and that money goes towards my deductible), I can see some advantage in considering using the service.

But more than likely, that doctor online will tell you to go see a doctor in person if you have a serious condition and then charge you $49 for a decision you probably would have arrived at yourself.

Anyone bite on these mailings to sign up or actually try the service?
