Medical alert systems

I'm exploring options for my 83 yo mother. While she currently has Lifeline and we have been satisfied with the service, it is constrained that it only protects her if she is at home or near the base station.

I'm thinking that it would be better if she had something that would protect her both at home and away from home (even though she has a cell phone and is pretty good about taking it with her when she is away from home.

FWIW, AT&T cellular has good coverage at her summer home, but Verizon coverage is poor. All cell providers have good coverage at her winter home.

Have any forum members use or have loved ones who use such a system that you would recommend?

There is a smartphone app called life360 that has a "send emergency message" function built into it. If you press the emergency icon it will send the message in 10seconds (gives you time to cancel it). It may or may not meet your needs.
