Timing for Medicare Advantage

Simple question (I think) -- The rules for signing up for Medicare are pretty clear. But how about for Medicare Advantage (MA)? Does one have to sign up for MA w/in a certain timeframe of signing up for Medicare? Is there an Open Season of sorts? Or can one sign up and begin MA at any time at all, once on Medicare?

TIA

To sign up for Medicare Advantage, I needed to have my Medicare card (actually the number on the card) to complete the form. So as soon as I received the Medicare card, I submitted my Medicare Advantage application. Since I started the application process first day I could sign up for Medicare, I was able to get the entire process completed well before my start date. And I had both of the monthly fees withdrawn from the Social Security check from the beginning.
