Can you transfer the script?

Can your doctor just send it to CVS and then you can have it transferred to your mail order supplier, I realize it would still be an electronic script but maybe it falls in a different category for your mail order place since it's now just a transfer of an original script, I know it's a long shot but just maybe they accept electronic transfers as it might just trigger a different checkmark in a box somewhere. Any pharmacy will transfer a script for you.
