WTC Health Program

For those who worked below Canal Street after 9/11/2001 I have a recommendation. Even if you are not sick now, get proof that you worked in the area so that if you get sick you have a case for 911 Victim Compensation and inclusion in the WTC Health Program. Get an affidavit from co-workers, and a letter from your HR department (and any proof like pay stubs) that you were present in the zone after 911. Certain medical conditions are presumed to be caused by exposure to the toxic dust and gases after the attack, even for office workers, not just for first responders. The program was recently extended to 2090 so getting your proof in order is important since people die and move away, and if that happens you can't prove that you were present, and you loose any claim.
