5G investment opportunities

Any thoughts on 5G cellular communication technology investment opportunities? 5G is being rolled out and will be a game changer but there is still a massive amount of infrastructure to deploy. What companies are going to make money on core technology and services? Looking at the FIVG fund which covers most of the major players. I also see Ciena called out as a possible winner. Thoughts?

Yes, a lot of hardware and infastructure will be deployed. That being said, the projected proffits of the companies are already baked into the stock prices. The days if a few firms getting rich off of new tech are long gone IMO.

This, though there may also be some "irrational exuberance" baked in as well. Going forward, there will probably be as many or more downside surprises as there will be upside surprises. We will hear a lot more about the upside surprises, though.

@KSTXFIRE, unless you have information that no one else does, you are just one more person trying to correctly guess the direction the stocks might take. And, absent unique information, realize that the professional traders certainly have more information than any of us do.
