In my fixed income portfolio, I have 5 years of living expenses on a CD ladder. I am thinking about doing a similar thing on the bond side but looking at bonds with a fixed maturity date. The longer date stuff has really come down in price BSJP/ 2025. If I buy it at current price and held it to 2025 any down side to this plan.
