TIPS for future RMD's

I have been buying TIPS for my future RMD's going out a few years. Yesterday I bought 4/15/25 maturity TIPS at 2.27%. The TIPS yield curve is strongly inverted right now. TIPS yields have been going up a lot and offer better positive numbers they we have seen in several years.

So this is a thought for those who have some cash or very short term bonds sitting around in IRA's.
