Been trading for many many years with TD and mostly Interactive Brokers, happy with them, and good executions.

Still it looks like in the last 2 years or so there is a newer crop of houses claiming zero commission trades (outside of industry fees), any comments on these? Are they making $ strictly on margin accounts or what is the angle? Slippage?

Not looking to switch but curious at this time.
 
Not familiar with WeBull, but I'm familiar with Robinhood. Here's how Robinhood makes money.

There was an in-depth article on Robinhood in the WSJ a couple of weeks ago. The conclusion was that, for any given trade, you'll pay a bit more at Robinhood than you will at the Schwab, TD, etc.

But if you're making frequent trades, you could recoup the difference with saved commissions.
