west coast, hi there!
In our area and apparently other US areas viruses plus Covid are on the rise. Apparently there is a spread of flu viruses and RSV due to reduced herd immunity (or something like that). For our area January of 2021 and 2022 were very bad for Covid and now it is rising in December 2022 in previous Decembers. See previous NY Times Covid calendars below for visual.

Anyway I am wondering if the markets have factored this in?

Maybe I am overly sensitive to this threat as DW got sick after Thanksgiving. Caught something from our grandson and had to spend 7 hours in the ER because the medical people are stretched in our county due to flu, RSV, Covid. Did require an Xray to pinpoint the cause which was bacterial pneumonia. She is much better now after antibiotic treatments.

At any rate stay safe this holiday season.

A quick glance shows that stock markets were up for Winter 2021 and down for Winter 2022. What are you expecting?

IMO, only in the unlikely event of another government mandated shutdown of the daily economy. Otherwise, businesses as usual.
