Good site for Travel Information
I just happened into this site today and thought it was a pretty good one. Anyway, hope someone can get something out of it that helps.
If you go into the archives (you have to dig around a little on this site for more information), you can find some interesting tips:

It would be even more encouraging if there were entries dated after 24 July 2009. (I am less concerned that there are none earlier than 4 April 2009 but... )
Maybe he or she (identified only as "I") found the perfect vacation spot and simply settled in.

This from someone who has a long-standing fued with TA:
BEAT OF HAWAII AND BEYOND » Can TripAdvisor Stop Review Fraud?
(Put TripAdvisor in the "Search For:" space on the above referenced page for more.)
I personally, from time to time, have had reason to question the validity of the "reviews" from TA.

Ron, if you scroll down the pages of TravelHack.org you find so much information. I got some great ideas I'd never seen before from this site myself.
Hate to hear about bogus reviews on TripAdvisor. I love that site.

Here is one of my favorite travel sites. Many European hotel and apt rental reviews. Excellent forums.
