I'm wracking my brain trying to remember a UK based company that specializes in guided hikes. They were mentioned here last summer and I cannot find the reference!

I liked a few of the tours they provided and want to look them over.

Of course. I start a thread and then find the answer. It was "Sherpa Expeditions."

If anyone else has recommendations for this kind of thing, let me know. I'm interested in N. America and Europe.

And I already know REI does this kind of thing.

There are a lot of those outfits.

Google "England walking trips" and you'll get dozens of them.

Or, if you're like me, Google "pub walks" for a more refined set.

DW and I did the Coast to Coast (C2C) trek across northern England last year with National Geographic Adventures. Great food and accommodations along with two excellent guides. We hiked about 160 miles over two weeks. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend Country Walkers. We hiked around the Italian Lake Region with them and were very happy with the experience.
