Hotels near Miami Cruise Ships

Can you please suggest a reasonably priced hotel or motel near Miami Cruise line. We want to spend 3-4 days before boarding for Norwegian Cruise.
Thanks

Hotels.com is your friend.

When we took a cruise from Fort Lauderdale, found a hotel that even picked us up at the airport, and drove us to the ship in the morning. Pretty lousy hotel, but for the price and the free transport, I could not complain.

We stayed at the Kimpton EPIC hotel a few years ago. We could see a few of the cruise ships from our room, and it was fun to sit on the pool deck and watch manatees swimming by in the river below. Also, it was close to the peoplemover that goes around downtown Miami, and we used that a lot for getting around. The Intercontinental is also near there.

I'd google/maps the location of your port, then search hotels around that. Your criteria are going to be different depending on your priorities.

Are you looking for somewhere efficient, clean, bare bones and reliable?
Or a luxury way to kick things off?

Very likely as well, your cruiseline has recommendations that they specifically arrange with, for easy pick ups to take you to the boat vs you picking something random and having to do your own transport.
