RV trip to Yosemite NP

Being one of the many RV enthusiast on this forum I am in need of some advice.

We are considering another West adventure this year and Yosemite would be one of the NPs we would visit. Due to kids schools we would arrive around the 2nd week of June. Is this the worst possible time to go? If not does anyone have nearby campground recommendations?

I live just down the road from Yosemite. 2nd week in June isn't the very peak of the season (July, August see more traffic). nearby there is also Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP, both are beautiful.

have a great trip!

June should be beautiful. I was in Bozeman two years ago in June and the weather was great. It can get cool so bring the right coats and such..........

What? That's only a mere 950 miles from Yosemite (and several degrees of Latitude). A mere pittance to us RVers.

If you had a Casita; you could stay in the park - I may do it this year.

We have been through Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon more than once, but because we did it on a whim, could not find lodging. I figure even with an RV, it may take advanced reservation. Yes?
