Wunderground Roadtrip?

What happened? Did they decide to "improve" this very useful feature and make it totally worthless?
I have used it frequently to input my destination to see what the weather will be like along my route. Now it just shows a regional map with whatever layers you want to put in but no where to put in your route.
Why do useful websites think they have to "improve" their site? Just make it work faster and that's fine.
Any other suggestions for showing current and forecasts along a route?

Not sure but I think that actually was a beta from NOAA or someone of that stripe, perhaps it simply was retired.

Wunderground got bought out a few years back and the new owners have a different focus. Intellicast is now my go-to site for weather info, though I do not know if they have a trip-route forecast feature.
