(FAQ archive) Protecting Assets From Creditor Claims

In 2005 the bankruptcy code was amended and the amendments changed what is exempt from claims of creditors when you file bankruptcy. Most of the changes concerned retirement plans. Because of these changes I omitted most discussions about what is exempt that predates the 2005 changes.
