The fiscal cliff in song

Heard this on PRI's The Takeaway earlier today

The Fiscal Cliff, in Song - The Takeaway

While Starbucks is pushing the Beatles "Come Together", there are some other interesting possibilities.

Since this is a creative bunch, what other songs would you recommend to include on the FIRE Playlist for Congress?

I'll start off with this classic:

Let's keep it civil and avoid Porky...please.

The issue is real enough, the melodrama couldn't be less so...

Not a song, but seems appropriate.

So now it appears the House won't vote today regardless of what the Senate does, so we're officially 'going over the cliff.' In itself, not a big deal.

At least they waited until the (US) markets had closed, no accident I suspect. Wed could be interesting as Wall St 'punishes' DC...

Over the cliff we go, over the cliff we go.
