Amazon Prime Video Channel Subscriptions $1.99/month first two months

Note: Offer expires tomorrow, Dec 4

If you have Amazon Prime, they are offering premium channel subscriptions for $1.99/month for the first two months. I'm generally very leery of these offers as they tend to make them very difficult to cancel or somehow bill beyond the offer period. I investigated and the subscription shows up on your Amazon subscriptions page (Memberships and Subscriptions right from main menu) and it's a single button click to cancel. When you cancel, it is effective at the end of the current paid month (already added to my calendar to cancel Jan 15).

Also, if you have Amazon Digital Credits, from taking slower shipping, for example, it will pull from those credits before going to your credit card. We have $13 of credits expiring next week and this was a welcome way to get rid of some.

I'm not endorsing this, just providing the info for any Prime members who may be interested.

Thanks, I grabbed showtime, that yellowjackets series looks worth the $1.99 by itself.

Thanks for posting this. I'm planning out my winter-time expansion into streaming services and was thinking of heading to Amazon Prime Video next. I might just add in BritBox and Paramount+ for a couple months to catch up on some of their series.

I did this when they had a deal on Paramount+ earlier this year. It was very easy to cancel before the price went up.

It's good to know I can use digital credits. I might grab a couple of channels.

It won't tell you this when it takes you to the payment page. Just let it use your normal credit card and after you hit the subscribe button, you can go check your digital credit balance and see it took the payment from there.
