According to my Tivo Guide

Star Trek Discovery, Season 1 will be on Broadcast CBS stations Thursday 9/24 at 10 PM.

Apparently, CBS needs to get some juice into its CV damaged lineup.

Not sure what "CV damaged lineup" means. I know CBS has a CV channel, but I don't know how that affects the CBS proper channel - this would make more sense if Discovery were going onto the CV channel to improve that channel's ratings rather than the main network channel.

I think "CV damaged" means "Covid-19 damaged."

It means that corona virus has inhibited their ability to make as many tv show episodes as they normally would. So I’ve been told. I imagine they are working out ways around getting actors together for filming just like sports teams are finding a way to play some of their season.
