It doesn't work for me either. I organize my apps in my own way, so I don't benefit from the app library. Maybe next release they will let us set up our own system in the app library. If so, that will be a very nice feature.

So for now I'm just keeping them in folders on the home screens the way I always have.

Here’s an article saying you can’t disable the app library but gives tips on how to avoid it.

https://appletoolbox.com/can-you-hid...he_App_Library

I haven’t upgraded yet. I haven’t heard much in the way of major bug reports, so maybe it’s safe?

That made me smile. “Learn To Embrace the App Library”? That never worked long with blind dates either.

(but thanks for the link! Good to read I’m not the only one)

Thank you for that link! I believe I just figured out how to do what I wanted.

And yes, I've been using 14 for several days now and it's been totally stable. Haven't seen any reports online of serious problems either.

It's there, but you don't have to use it. You can keep your folder organization just the way you like it.

I think I’m finally getting the hang of the changes to the “Smart Stack” feature and placing various widgets there. It wasn’t obvious (at least to me) but j’approuve.

[ADDED] I installed the 14.0.1 update. No problems on my iPhone 8.
