I know but....

I normally don’t try to outguess the market.
I got nervous when this outbreak first hit and put everything
in the money market.
I could get by on money market returns but always like to make some extra return.
Hopefully things will settle down soon but not sure when it would be prudent to test the waters.

I would say probably not any time soon. Things are going to get A LOT worse before they get better.

Well I would say it would partly depend on what you want to put your money into. There are some very beaten down sectors. You could nibble a bit at the edges of some of these. But generally I would say nobody has any idea where we are as far as how close we are to the bottom.

When most of the bad news is priced in then it will be time to take a look for sure. Are we at that point yet? IMO we are not there yet. Simply put we do not know how bad it can get. Just keep watching the market and you will have to decide for yourself at what point you want to make a move.

It depends when you want to cash in. If you can wait a year then it's about time to invest now.

There so much misleading and dumb information. Doctors making judgment calls that certain cities are safe and not to wear masks, then a few days later Corona spread so much that you shouldn't go out. The authorities saying there's no need to hoard because the supply chain is intact, yet they tell you not to go out. If you bought for a few months then you'll be safer because you could stay home longer. I regret just buying for months and not a year or more. And I started before the panic buying.

There's going to be a huge drug trial on Tuesday that patients could participate in. "Cuomo said 750,000 doses of chloroquine, 70,000 doses of hydroxychloroquine and 10,000 doses of Zithromax were acquired by New York state for the trial." Within a week after people start taking them they may see improvement. I don't know whether there will animal testing first but my hunch is that some country will soon find strong evidence of a drug working in humans. At that point it won't even matter if there's not yet a slowing of deaths. The market will go up.

The drugs are sold out everywhere pretty much. Lupus patients who need that drug are being told tough luck. It would take 3-6 months just to make the precursers for the drugs in the US as they are only made in China. Xi is not huge friends with the US now. I'm in Canada and same issue, China hates us right now. North America will not be getting this drug anytime soon...assuming it even works
