We all re use dryer sheets, as requirement for ER - Org membership.

How about the disinfectant wipes ? Launder and soak in the secret disinfectant sauce ? Question is, what to use for the disinfectant ? Chemicals listed are not readily available

too risky and too much trouble, IMO

Bleach. It kills everything, and is very cheap.

Fire starter for woodstove.

Its disinfectant property is enhanced if you light it. The generated heat helps.

Yes! IMHO Fire is the ultimate disinfectant of things. Though they may not be useful for the original intended purpose.

If you have mixed stream, the pickers could become infected.
If not then the reprocessing will sterilize it.
In the trash, by the time archaeologists dig it up, who knows if it will be novel again or general immunity or medical/genetic advances which render it moot.

Save them for when the toilet paper runs out.

Slightly related, reusing masks by sterilizing with UV light or ethylene oxide gas ?

Washcloth or small towel with rubbing alcohol, we can’t find wipes anyway (and don’t care anymore).

We're setting up a UVC sterilization station, out of both boredom and an abundance of caution. ;) If anyone in the house has respiratory issues, though, you need to make sure it's in an isolated, well-ventilated area, because UVC lights generate ozone. We plan to use it for phones, keys, and gloves and masks if we feel we need them.
