    Worked in the telecom field as a technician, engineer, and planner for 30+ years. And in construction before that.
    Lost my wife of 29 years in 2012.
    Saw friends my age and younger dealing with cancer after that.
    Had an opportunity to retire at 54 and grabbed it!
