Hello Huston, I finally saw your "like" from 5/26 ... my friends are living in Shorewood, a north-shore suburb of Milwaukee. Most of the housing stock is upper middle class from the 1920s but very well-kept with a university-faculty vibe (UW-Milwaukee is nearby) Milwaukee's answer to Evanston, sort of, but more affluent.

The dogs -- thanks for the compliments. I'm still doing agility with the dog leaping the bar, but it's getting harder to keep up with him. Gotta lose 10 pounds soon!

I hate it when people ask me that, because I was the proverbial "jack of all trades." My first couple of years were a mess, for several reasons. Started out as a weapons controller, then intelligence, then settled into logistics. In later years I migrated to international political-military relations. Still a mess. 1968-1989 active duty, and quite frankly I enjoyed nearly all of it.
