- Retired in 2000 with one and three year old boys. Did some consulting 2000-01 but too much like career job. Picked up a "Dog days of Winter" job, preparing tax returns in 2002, first for a nationwide storefront outfit but too much corporate BS so moved to a local CPA firm for 3 months each year, for a total of 12 years. Now a VITA tax aide through our local United Way organization and AARP Foundation.
