Thank you for the links of your bicycle trip in PEI. I have had multiple surgeries on my back eventually resulting in a lumbar fusion along with a knee replacement less than a year ago and both shoulders having rotator cuff surgery. All this in the last 6 years. My usual way of travel was backpacking and tent camping but not possible today. I am also a bicycle rider that is slowly getting back to it so your trip is particularly nice to read. Since we are flying to Maine and Canada to start our vacation we will have to rent bicycles along the route. I think I will need to do a lot of Google searches to find rentals as we travel.

Thanks again for the links. I hope your recovery is doing well.

I think there is a lot of miss info here on SS. I went ahead and spent the 40 dollars on this site and it set me straight. In my opinion it worth it, and no I do not sell this site.

I (and wife) moved into retirement in 2006 by accepting a position in the Peace Corps, S. Africa. Upon returning to Milwaukee, I did some very part time business consulting and, volunteered at civic orgs/NGOs. My retirement plan started when I was about 35 with a 58 year old goal. That was pretty much achieved.
