Sunset

Sunsets, thanks for the prod to look at the Vanaguard VTSMX fund. I finally have the wife agreeable to make a small investment in stocks rather than all CD's. Yeah! To balance out the CD's and the VTSMX, any thoughts on conservative funds. I've been researching Health Care and REITs. I'm an old real estate broker and am more comfortable with a low/moderate risk REIT due to the nature of the business and would use that as the low/moderate risk of the portfolio. She is only comfortable with using $30k total so my thought is to mix it among the 3 different interest. And I have spent most of the morning reading about Fundwise. Sounds like a good idea but not 100% lined up with their business model. I appreciate any thoughts and ideas you are able to share.
