    Good chart too. Thanks.

Of course as a lawyer, he would claim it is not a depression! Merely a setback!

Al--you might find this interesting, unless you've already seen it. YouTube - The Battle of the Diets: Is Anyone Winning (At Losing?)

Hi T-Al, I havent been on here for a while. Have been busy with some projects. We have talked some on cycling in the past. In late August, DH and I got a couple of Trek Road Bikes, got professionally fit to them, started out 2-5 miles and we are now doing 20-30 mile rides along the Santa Ana River Trail. I would love to hear from other retirees who have a passion for cycling. Do you know of a thread here?

    Thanks, Janet

PS. I see on your messages below that you lost a house in Oakland to the fires. I am so sorry. I can only imagine the sadness you felt about that.

Thanks for the note. Glad you didn't need the letter.

    T-Al,

Thanks so much for your "Fire Victims" letter. I'm so sorry you lost the house in Oakland. I can only imagine the stress, seeing as how we didn't even evacuate and I couldn't sleep for almost three days. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in composing the letter in the first place, and again in sending it on to me.

Fortunately it looks like a near miss for us with this batch of fires, but odds are we'll be facing something like this again at some point and I'll keep your letter just in case.

Hope summer up there in the north is good, and that you don't need the fire crews we've got sequestered down here!

    Urchina
