I saved a picture of a Tatonka, you shared with us a few years back on ER. It was a side profile and a beautiful bison in tall grass. I did ask permission to share that photo from Ronstar with a friend and I still have it saved. It is a great shot!!

Thanks - That was a fun bison day. Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. I waited in a light rain for him to stand up. He was close to the fence, so it made for a good photo. Reminds me that I haven't been there in a while.

One advantage of a longer macro lens is; you don't need to get so close to the subject.

Nice picture Ronstar! I couldn't fit a tripod where I was viewing, so had to lean against something. Not the most clear shot, but at least I did witness first hand that creepy looking moon ;D.

Ran into some more eagles and some pileated woodpeckers today. Eagle had to kink it's head to keep an eye on me.

I just ordered the Adobe Creative Cloud Photo Plan with Lightroom and PhotoShop for $99.88 from B&H photo. That's a $20 savings from the usual price. If you use their PayBoo credit card, they will pay the sales tax for you.

I get them to send me the actual card with an activation code. My current subscription has a few months left on it, so I'll activate the after the current subscription expires.

Thank you Chuckanut! Have been perfectly satisfied using (paid for) CS5 and LR6 on the Windows machine until it crashed. Adobe and Apple couldn't (wouldn't) update their drivers to Big Sur, so this will be a decent alternative. Hope I'll be able to use plugins Mogrify and Nik.
