Dreaming of a retirement property with a great view. Do you have an amazing view from your home? Care to share an image and provide general location?

Sunrise at the bottom of the Potomac looking out into Chesapeake Bay. The other photo is the moon rising. Been here 9 years.

We call this place home. Views are from around our house.

We see this guy from our livingroom windows. Do you know what mountain it is?

Not yet. We are in the trees and cannot see more than 150 yards in any direction. This is only 1/2 mile from the house, I take pictures of the mountain in the morning if it looks promising. The mountain is casting a sunrise shadow across the bottom of the clouds.

Now that's Rainier in one of its faux eruption moods!

We are shopping for view property next weekend, work permitting. We share your dreams :)

I wouldn’t call it amazing, but we’re happy when we visit the property. This is the view of family property in Tennessee near Douglas lake looking at the Smokies. The water is controlled by the TVA so sometimes it’s a stream and sometimes closer to a lake, but you can always get to Douglas lake from there.

The views we are shopping for might include a distant Mt. Baker and the Straits of Juan De Fuca, but we might settle for the Olympic mountains instead.
We have a budget for the land.
Sample of the Olympics from Sequim.

View from our barn at our second home in south central NH. To be our primary residence next spring after DW retires and if all goes well.

This is ours, quite secluded. Not as good as some, but we like it. We have no front or rear neighbors, we like that too. View from our Florida Room, Pool and Living room.

Any view out a ways is good for us. We are really in the trees here and missing some distance in our perspective.

This is my cabin property at it's worst - after heat wave and very little rain, the septic drain field on full display with dry grass stripes and it's a cloudy day to boot, but it's a fun property. 300 year old maple, and dock are a couple of my treasures, so a good view to me!

Bigdawg, we were just around the corner on the Little Wicomico!

We recently sold it and moved south. Our view this morning…love it, but starting to miss mountains and hills!

The view from our deck.

In the state that is the best kept secret for retirement.
