Four Pillars and Bogleheads' Guide

I got "The Four Pillars of Investing, Lessons for building a winning portfolio" by William Bernstein and "The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing" by Taylor Larimore, Mel Lindauer, Michael LeBoeuf today.

From what I have been reading here and elsewhere they seem like a good starting point in my education to prepare myself to do my own investing when I roll out my lump sum pension and 401K in a year. Any benefit in reading one over the other first?

Bogleheads guide is new, so there's probably not too many people qualified to answer yet.

I've read 4Pillars, it's my favorite investment book. Not that I've read that many though.

Just got the Bogleheads Guide and I really like it. The Four Pillars is good too but I like the range of issues addressed by the Bogleheads more. For asset allocation it is hard to improve on the Four Pillars and Bernstiens first book on asset allocation.
But these and a few others are really worth reading. There is an amazing amount of junk financial books and magazines.
